Ishan Institute of Law hosted Nyay Kaksh – A Suit for Justice, an Inter-College Law Moot Court Competition, on 19 February 2026 at Vidhi Bhawan, Ishan Campus. The competition brought together enthusiastic participants from several colleges, providing law students with an opportunity to present their arguments, apply their legal knowledge and experience the demands of courtroom advocacy.
The competition focused on developing important skills that form an essential part of legal education, including legal research, case analysis, preparation of arguments and effective presentation before a Bench. The participating teams engaged with the moot proposition through detailed research and structured arguments, creating a competitive yet enriching academic environment.
The Final Round was judged by a distinguished panel comprising Mr. D. K. Sinha, Advocate-on-Record, Supreme Court of India; Dr. (Prof.) Santosh Tiwari, HOD, Department of Law, GBU, Greater Noida; Dr. M. Khairoowala, Principal, Ishan Institute of Law; Ms. Vandana Beri, Advocate, Supreme Court of India; and Dr. Amit Singh, Principal, Harlal School of Law, Greater Noida. Their presence added valuable professional and academic perspectives to the competition.
Prizes were awarded in various categories, including Winner, Runner-Up, Best Mooter, Best Researcher and Best Memorial, recognising different aspects of the participants’ performance.
The competition provided students with a valuable platform to test their advocacy and research skills, learn from their peers and gain a practical understanding of the discipline and preparation required in legal practice. Ishan Institute of Law appreciates all the participating teams for their enthusiastic involvement and commendable performances.
