  • Critically analyze and research complex problems relating to law and legal theory and make reasoned and appropriate choices amongst alternatives.
Constitutional Law of India K-1002
  • To create and set up a basic philosophical tenets of Indian Constitutional Law
  • To instill not just a bare understanding of but a perspective on constitutional developments in Indian Constitutional Law.
  • To understand the system of Government and the fundamental principles governing its organization.
  • To understand the detailed analysis of fundamental freedoms guaranteed under the Indian Constitution.
Law of Torts K-1003
  • To study the principles of Tortuous liability, The defenses available in an action for torts, the capacity of parties to sue and be sued and matters connection there with.
  • To study and evaluate the specific torts against the individual and property. With rapid industrialization, inadequacy of the law to protect the individual is exposed.
  • The students should reflect on the alternative forms, and also the remedies provided under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986.
Law of Crimes – I (Indian Penal Code) K-1004
  • Understand and describe areas of criminal justice, law and society through a critical analysis of the subject
  • Analyze lacunas within the criminal justice system and suggest the amendments have to make to provide the justice according to the changing needs of the society.
  • Summarize the process of judicial review and identify criteria used by courts to evaluate the constitutionality of criminal law of India.
  • Identify and synthesize social theory about crime, justice, and social deviance and explain and address various obstacles and barriers experienced by individuals before, during, and after internment

  • In the society wherein all major ventures are getting corporatized, a law student should acquaint himself with the knowledge of special contracts apart from equipping himself with general principles of contract.
  • To understand the requirement of specific enforcement of a contract and situations in which the specific enforcement can be refused.

  • This subject provides information about the historical aspect of legal history of India.

Administrative Law K-3003
  • Administrative law is mainly a judge-made law and has secured its present features through a Myriad of judicial decisions. A student got a deep knowledge of the operation and changing phenomena of these standards from a comparative angle.
  • The ever increasing number of dlegated legislation in the form of rules, regulations, circulars and general orders has the characteristics of law, which though framed by administration, impose burden on the rights of citizens.
  • Analyze the scope of review of delegated legislation and the limitations on the judicial review of administrative action, the Principles of Natural Justice also have studied in detail in this course.

  • Organizes awareness, skill training and capacity building programs to different classes of women and men.
  • Provides consultancy to Identify and discuss issues related to women and child development and inculcates entrepreneurial spirit among the girls, rural and urban grass root women and promote micro entrepreneurs.
